How to use
Remove any solid matter.
Mix 12mls Bio One™ concentrate to 100mls of water, or simply follow the markers on your Bio One™ mix + spray bottle.
Make up as much or as little as needed. Once mixed the solution stays active for about 10-14 days before it naturally begins to die off.
Spray generously onto affected area.
For soft surfaces, carefully work solution into the fibres without rubbing.
The enzymes will continue to work while damp therefore spray more if required. Leave for 5-10 mins, wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry naturally. Repeat if desired. Always test a small area first.
Top tip: try spraying over beds and sofas each day.
Is the Odour Eliminator vegan?
Yes, Bio One is registered with the Vegan Society. We have had to go through rigorous checks by the Vegan Society to ensure that ALL our ingredients are one hundred percent vegan and natural.
Is the odour eliminator safe for children?
Yes, the Bio One is chemical free and made up of completely natural ingredients (accredited by the Vegan Society) - so entirely safe to use around children.
Can you use this to remove fish smell?
Yes you can, spray and clean the immediate cooking area with Bio One™ Odour Eliminator and then spray the product into the air to remove any residual odour particles.
What are the ingredients?
Aqua, also contains non-ionic surfactant, sodium chloride, bacillus subtilis non morbificus, parfum (fragrance), aloe barbadensis (aloe vera), citrus paradisis (pink grapefruit), melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree), citrus limonum (lemon), silver, (citral, geraniol, limonene; all naturally occurring in essential oils).
About limonene: Limonene is the natural oil extracted from the peel of grapefruit, orange and other citrus fruits. It is a fresh, zesty, uplifting aroma that lingers without overpowering. It adds a note of luxury to this eco-conscious high performance cleaning solution.
Does the Odour Eliminator remove the smell of Urine?
Yes! It is what it loves most of all. Bio One powerfully eradicates human urine at the source. It is perfect to have on hand for potty training and incontinence accidents as it completely removes the smell of human urine by 'eating' away at the bad bacteria that cause the odorous smell of human urine.
Can I use the Odour Eliminator on Vomit?
Yes, Bio One removes the acrid smell of vomit completely - great to have in the house, especially if you have children or babies, or are caring for someone. Vomit can often be a very difficult smell to get rid of, especially on textiles. If you follow our step by step process, you can be sure to eliminate the smell permanently.
Can Bio One™ Odour Eliminator Surface Cleaner be used on all types of surfaces?
Yes, Bio One™ Odour Eliminator Surface Cleaner can be used on all types of hard and soft surfaces. (Except natural silk which will leave a water mark). We would always suggest you do a test patch in an inconspicuous area.
How many applications can I get from the Eco Refill bottle?
One 500ml eco bottle of concentrate makes 4.2 litres of live solution, enough for about 840 cleanups jobs! (only 3p per application).
Does Bio One™ Odour Eliminator have a scent, or does it simply neutralise odours and bacteria?
Yes, our Bio One Odour Eliminator has a beautiful subtle scent of Grapefruit and Tea Tree. It doesn’t just neutralise, but completely eliminates odour and bad bacteria leaving a subtle scent behind. Our scents are all made from natural oils and ingredients that will not irritate even the most sensitive of human or pet noses.
How long does it take for Bio One™ Odour Eliminator Surface Cleaner to effectively eliminate odours and bacteria?
It takes around 5 to 10 minutes for Bio One™ to work its magic. The product can be left for longer or reapplied, if there is a really tough stain or stubborn odour, to let the enzymes sink really deep into the surface, for example an bed wetting accident. The enzymes continue to work whilst damp, so for really tough problem areas ensure that you do not let the area dry too quickly, simply spray a little more. A top tip would be to spray some Bio One™ into the bottom of your bins in between bin liner changes!
How does the subscription work?
Our Bio One™ subscription is a really simple service that ensures you are never left without your Bio One™ to hand. Simply choose which range you would like to subscribe to, choose between 250ml or 500ml and then choose your frequency - every month or every 3 months.
What are bio-enzymes?
Don't be fooled to think that because enzymes are natural they are less effective than chemical cleaners. Enzymes are nature's very own powerful cleaning tools. How do enzymes work?
Enzyme cleaners are great for odour because they have the ability to break down the organic compounds found in urine, faeces, and other bodily fluids and external matter that cause unpleasant smells. The enzymes in Bio One™ specifically target the proteins present in these substances, effectively breaking them down into smaller, odourless molecules. Unlike traditional cleaners that may mask or temporarily cover up the smell, enzyme cleaners actually eliminate the source of the odour by naturally breaking it down. Can I use my own spray bottle?
Yes you can, remember these are natural live bio enzymes and they hate chemicals, in fact chemicals can destroy the enzymes. Therefore if you use your own spray bottle be sure to thoroughly rinse it out and the trigger spray, before use.
Should I use hot or cold water to mix my solution?
Enzymes can be destroyed if mixed with hot water, so always ensure you mix your solution with cold/ambient tap water.
Is it safe for use around people with sensitivities to fragrances?
Yes absolutely. Our formula has been carefully created by globally recognised aromatherapists to be safe for all to use. Bio One is designed to eradicate completely odour and mess, it does not use fragrance to mask the bad smell, therefore our scents are designed to give you a very subtle and beautifully delicate aroma. We are proud to be endocrine disruptor free. Endocrine disruptors can mimic or block hormones, affecting the body’s natural functions and leading to imbalances. By opting for endocrine disruptor-free cleaning products, you proactively protect your health and reduce the risks associated with exposure to these harmful substances.
Are there any special storage instructions for the cleanser to maintain its effectiveness?
Simply keep your bottle in a cool cupboard, don’t expose it to high temperatures.
Does the Bio One require dilution, or is it ready to use straight from the bottle?
Bio One comes in a concentrated form, saving plastic and money. Simply mix the concentrate with water to wake the enzymes and create your live formula. Follow the steps on the bottle as a guide of how many parts solution to water you need.
What is the packaging made from, and is it recyclable?
Yes, our packaging is fully recyclable, with the labels on. We use environmentally friendly packaging solutions, including the use of dissolvable glue on our recycled labels.
Does the Bio One leave behind any streaks or residue on surfaces?
Bio One is free from chemicals and alcohol, which many other cleaners utilise in order to get perfectly streak and residue free surfaces. If you are using Bio One on a shiny surface or glass, then we recommend wiping over with a clean wet cloth after use, or simply use a dry cloth to buff the surface to a shine.
Is the Bio One suitable for use in conjunction with other cleaning products?
No. Using Bio One™ alongside other products will stop the product from working to its full potential. Bio One is made from natural enzymes, which will be killed by harsh chemicals. Bio One is so versatile that you can use it to replace virtually all your other cleaning products, saving you money and space in your cupboard.
